 Happy Wednesday!
We are almost at the end of August, wow! Don't you think time flew by too fast this year.
I sure am looking forward to the next year but this year has been too fast for me.
I don't even know what I did this year except shop online :P
That's my drug, my addiction and I surely need rehab! :D

This twin set I am wearing in this post is from an international online store - romwe. I had ordered quite a few things from this site that day and was overly thrilled to receive the products. However when I did, I was pretty disappointed with the quality :( I had ordered a ripped pair of denims and to my horror, the zip was faulty and had come of completely. Most of these goods are shipped from China and quality is sometimes not that great but stylish, they are!

Anyways, I decided to sulk no more and style what I received and thus came these pics.
And it was not like this didn't have its advantages, for I got most of my stuff at reduced rates and shipping is free :) (Around rs. 600 would be charged for shipping, I guess for customs but the seller ships it free)

So, if you want something that's trending and unavailable locally, you should definitely give this site a try.

Into the Woods...

Ever felt like running away from the humdrums of this mundane life...to some place where you know no one, care for nothing...with just your own self for company?
Well...I feel that (almost) all the time! :P
And if it were ever possible, I would love to get lost in the jungles of Andaman or go to the Kailash mountains (might be too cold) or even vanish in the Alaskan range ;)
These woods the other day, gave me that exact feeling of "Wanderlust"...and I knew I had to capture their beauty!
It was a very damp rainy day and this was not what I was meant to shoot in but the rains made it difficult to shoot the look I had planned cause of the multiple changes :(
Hence I decided to add some style to my existing OOTD, this Forever21 bodycon dress. Threw in a lace crop top over it, added the belt to add some structure to the waist (Was dying to style this belt that I scored at the recent Koovs sale :P) and completed my look with these tie-ups.
Loved the colorplay here, and frankly it did not require any editing but was trying to play with Photoshop with a friend's help and was too excited to share the results with you guys (hence the edited pics ;)).

DIY Choker - Super simple!

Chokers are hot this season, and like the rest of you even I am obsessed with them.
So decided to make my own today and was pretty happy with how it turned out.

All I needed were these 3 basic items -
1. 1 detachable bra strap (any color, I used black)
2. Some beads/pearls/bling stick ons (I used some off white beads I bought from CraftsAdda, you can buy similar here
3. Fabric Glue

Once I had my items all I need to do was - stick the beads to the strap!!!

And here's a picture of the steps with the final result.
